A huge congratulations to the seven pupils involved in the Leeds Trinity Kitchen Challenge who were the overall winners of the competition!
The challenge involved pupils attending a series of workshops ran by key business figures from Trinity Kitchen, where they had to gain insight into how street food vendors run successful businesses selling 'insta-worthy' food.
Our young entrepreneurs were competing against other schools in Leeds, and were given a theoretical budget of £2000, which they had to use to design the business proposal for their company. The proposal had to be complete with costings, operations and logistics, branding and marketing plans.
Presenting to a panel of judges, pupils wowed with their company 'Shaker Maker', which featured items such as fright shakes, milk shakes and assorted cake goodies.
For their win, they received Trinity Leeds vouchers and will receive a business mentoring session from the shopping centre. This is an amazing achievement that all involved should be very proud of.
