Further Learning provides pupils and parents with a bespoke list of suggested activities linked to each subject area every half term. These activities are designed to improve independence and resilience, increase awe and wonder and raise attainment and progress for pupils of all ages.
In the Primary Phase, a new Further Learning sheet is sent home in book-bags each Friday. This can also be viewed below.
In the Secondary Phase, pupils are required to complete the Further Learning that is given out each half term in their own time (either at home or after formal school hours) and are also encouraged to complete enhanced tasks.
Required Further Learning
For Years 7, 8 and 9, the Required Further Learning booklets are linked below. This is the Further Learning that you are required to complete for your EBACC subjects (English, maths, science, humanities and languages). Completing this affects your end of term EBACC Further Learning Progress Report. For Years 10 and 11, the Required Further Learning booklets are given to pupils from their subject teachers.
Enhanced Further Learning
For Years 7, 8 and 9, the Enhanced Further Learning booklets are linked below. Enhanced Further Learning encourages pupils to complete as many tasks as possible from each subject area, especially in the Foundation subjects that they may want to pick for their GCSE/BTEC courses.
