Presentation Afternoon 2018

Our 2018 Presentation Afternoon celebrated pupils achievements from the last school year.

Attendance, Character for Learning, Coaching, Work Experience, subject achievement and school performances were just some of the areas that pupils were awarded in at our prestigious ceremony, which took place this year on Friday 13th July.

We were honoured to welcome Fabian Hamilton, local MP for Leeds North East, and Bob Bowman, Chief Operating Officer at the Leeds Rhinos Foundation, to speak during the afternoon and present one of the awards to a pupil.

We really value our Presentation Afternoon as it's a fantastic way to celebrate pupils achievements from the last school year.

Two of the most prestigious awards were presented to Year 11 pupils; The Governors award was presented to Ellen Johnson and the Akram Khammo award was awarded to Sanaa Chutory.

Friends, family and members of the community were invited to attend the afternoon and shared some positive comments about the event;

"Truly inspirational - a great event and a privilege to witness. Thank you."
- Phill Dixon, Leeds Trinity University

"10 years + at Carr Manor awards and I still love it.  Great to see your school grow."
Lee Jackson, Motivational Speaker

"A wonderful school, which cares for the children and young people who attend.  Caring, supportive and restorative."
- Lucy Hart, 2gether Cluster
